What to Expect From Physiotherapy

Your physiotherapist will assess your symptoms, movement and functional goals, explain the findings clearly, and develop a treatment and rehabilitation plan tailored to your needs.

1. Assessment

We assess your symptoms, movement, function and goals to understand what is contributing to the problem.

2. Treatment

Your treatment plan may include hands-on therapy, education, exercise and strategies to improve movement and reduce symptoms.

3. Progressive Rehabilitation

We progressively build strength, mobility and confidence to support recovery and long-term function.

Physiotherapy Funding & Referrals

We support a range of private and referral pathways for physiotherapy, depending on eligibility and individual circumstances.

Private Patients

Book directly with our physiotherapy team. A referral is not required for private physiotherapy.

WorkCover Queensland

We can support eligible workers with physiotherapy following workplace injury, subject to claim and referral requirements.

Medicare Chronic Condition Management

Eligible patients may access Medicare-subsidised physiotherapy when referred under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan.

Queensland CTP

Physiotherapy may be provided as part of rehabilitation following a motor vehicle accident, subject to the relevant CTP insurer’s approval.

NDIS

Physiotherapy may be provided where it is an appropriate funded therapy support within a participant’s NDIS plan.

DVA Veteran Cards

DVA Veteran Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.

Bring any relevant referrals, imaging, reports or claim information, and wear comfortable clothing that allows the affected area to be assessed where appropriate.

Yes. Physiotherapy may include individually prescribed exercise to improve strength, mobility, function and confidence as part of your rehabilitation plan.
